Jesus People Gospel Ministries is a church in Kahawa Sukari, Nairobi, Kenya, led by Pastor Simon & Joyce Nderitu. Alongside it stand Jepegomi Academy, the Contextual Bible Training College, and the Food at School program.

Worship, education, training, and the meals that keep a classroom learning. It is one ministry, and all of it is the work.

Morning porridge and a hot lunch, every school day. It is what a child needs to get through a full day of lessons.

Current needs

Finish the kitchen with us

Every one of those meals now comes out of a kitchen of its own. A partner church in the United States built it with us, and it has been cooking every school day since. Three things would finish the job: a water tank, a proper floor where the children eat, and plaster and power in the dining hall.

Get the children to school

The same partner church that built the kitchen has given toward getting the academy's van running again.

Beyond that, the school has outgrown a van. A 26-seater bus carries it as it is today and leaves room for the children still to come, and the whole cost of it is still to raise.
